As part of Pegasystems’ consulting organization, the Lead System Architect provides architecture and design services to clients and ensures delivered solutions meet and perform to technical and functional specifications. Pega is changing the way the world builds software. In this role, you’ll help us ensure that system architectures are functional, robust and scalable within the context of a client enterprise.
What You'll Do at Pega:Lead and drive scope definition, requirements analysis, functional and technical design, application build, product configuration, unit testing, UAT and production deployment. Partner with world leading clients to deliver high quality technical solutions across all phases of the software development lifecycle. Utilize technical consulting skills to demonstrate new and innovative ways to implement software solutions. Collaborate with Pega delivery team you will ensure the solution meets or exceeds client expectations. Provide support and technical governance focused on one or more projects at a single client. Act as a subject matter expert to the organization and pro-actively respond to ad-hoc questions.
Who You Are: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Computer Science/Engineering, Electronic Engineering or related field, and7 years of experience in any job title/occupation/position involving building and implementing model-driven, enterprise-level business solutions.Experience specified must include 7 years with:All phases of software development including design, configuration, testing, debugging, implementation, and support of large-scale, business centric and process-based applications;Application Servers, programming languages, relational and non-relational data bases and integration techniques; andObject-Oriented techniques and principles.Experience specified must include 5 years with:Application server technologies such as Tomcat, WebSphere, or WebLogic;J2EE (JSP, Servlets, EJB, XML, or Java);Database technologies such as Postgres, Oracle, DB2, or MS/SQL; andLeading customer and partner resources.Experience specified must also include 4 years delivering Pega platform implementation.Experience specified must also include 3 years with:Leading in Agile and Scrum methodologies; andCoaching and mentoring team members.Requires Pega Certified Lead System Architect Certification (CLSA).May live anywhere in the US.
