Automation Engineer/Lead System Engineer

Job Description

The Automation Engineer will be responsible for integrating, automating, and troubleshooting systems for a wide range of customers. This role primarily involves modifying code in Rockwell, creating the system, and assisting projects from start to finish. Typically, you will work on one project at a time, but there may be occasions where you handle up to two or three projects within a short timeframe.

ResponsibilitiesInterface with clients in design meetings and conference calls.Work with the project team, leading less experienced engineers, and taking direction from the project manager or lead engineer.Program controllers using Rockwell and Siemens platforms.Design electrical control cabinets and panels.Test system configuration to verify functionality.Travel to client sites for project meetings.Travel to client sites for system commissioning.Essential SkillsProficiency in automation and PLCs.Experience with Rockwell control systems.Skills in controls engineering.Experience in panel wiring, panel design, and electrical design.Proficiency with Siemens PLCs.Engineering degree.2-8 years of relevant experience.At least 2 years of working experience demonstrating proficiency with Rockwell platforms.Additional Skills & QualificationsWillingness to travel up to 25%.Work Environment

This role operates in a clean office space with occasional visits to manufacturing environments where you will see products come to life.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $53.00
