Are you an experienced Microsoft Exchange Architect with a passion for designing, implementing, and managing robust email solutions? The Global Technology & Operations team is seeking a highly skilled professional to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in administering Microsoft Exchange in both cloud and on-premises environments. This is a key role that will involve strategic planning, architecture design, and hands-on implementation of our email infrastructure.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
+ Elaborate the design and interfaces for specific components
+ Define subsystems and their interfaces, allocate responsibilities to subsystems, understand solution deployment, and communicate requirements for interactions with solution context.
+ Drive important design decisions for development team.
+ Align development teams to a shared technical direction and partners with those teams in elaborating the Solution and its interfaces
+ Validate technology assumptions, evaluate implementation alternatives
+ Establish critical NFRs at the solution level, participate in the definition of others.
+ Create and enable the Continuous Delivery Pipeline
+ Participate in planning, definition, and high-level design of the system solution and explore alternatives
+ Develop the Architectural Runway in support of new business Features and Capabilities.
+ Work with portfolio stakeholders, Solution and Enterprise Architects, to develop, analyze, split, and realize the implementation of enablers
+ Participate in project planning, system and solution demos, retrospective workshops.
+ Understand technical characteristics of and assist with architectural integration of external components, systems, and platforms.
+ Architecture and Design:
+ Develop and implement comprehensive Microsoft Exchange architecture strategies that support business objectives and scalability.
+ Design Exchange environments that integrate seamlessly with existing IT infrastructure, including Active Directory, Office 365, and hybrid cloud solutions.
+ Administration and Maintenance:
+ Oversee the day-to-day administration of Exchange environments, including mailbox management, security configurations, and performance tuning.
+ Implement and manage disaster recovery and high availability solutions for Exchange.
+ Security and Compliance:
+ Ensure email systems are secure, compliant with relevant regulations, and adhere to best practices.
+ Implement and manage Exchange security features such as encryption, anti-spam, and data loss prevention (DLP).
+ Troubleshooting and Support:
+ Provide expert-level support for complex issues related to Exchange.
+ Collaborate with IT support teams to resolve incidents and implement long-term solutions.
+ Documentation and Training:
+ Develop and maintain detailed documentation of Exchange architecture, configurations, and procedures.
+ Provide training and mentorship to junior administrators and support staff.
Required Experience:
+ Typically requires 5-8 years’ experience.
+ Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing Microsoft -Exchange Server (2016/2019) and Exchange Online.
+ Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and management tasks.
+ Experience with web development, c#, MS Graph
+ Proficient in Microsoft 365 and hybrid cloud solutions.
+ Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, and related infrastructure components.
+ Familiarity with security practices and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
+ Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
+ Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
+ Relevant certifications such as MCSE: Productivity, Microsoft 365 Certified: -Messaging Administrator Associate, or equivalent are highly desirable.
Desired Education:
+ Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, or Math; Developer nanodegree; or equivalent experience preferred.
Our Lead System Engineering earn between $128,400 - $215,800 annually. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
