About The Job:

This position will serve as the Functional Analyst/Systems engineer for Finance applications.  This position bridges the gap between the business needs and the technology solution. The Systems Engineer would be expected to collaborate with the business client to produce a business requirement document.  The Systems Engineer would work with the technical team to analyze the business requirements and design the IT solution that would meet the business requirements needs.  The Systems Engineer will also perform Integrate Systems testing to ensure the system/application meets the specified requirements.  The Systems Engineer may also partner with the business as User Acceptance Testing is performed.  Very often the Systems Engineer will need to provide support and troubleshooting for applications in production.  The Systems Engineer would be expected to be the liaison for communications between the Technical Team and the business stakeholders.  The System Engineer may at times assume a project management role for the application or project with respect to planning, scheduling and delivery. Hands-on function that ultimately results in the delivery of an application or service. Responsible for translating the core architecture for business requirements into the final technical solution through functional, performance, and reliability analysis using engineering models and techniques, primarily through software development throughout the vertical stack.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Elaborate the design and interfaces for specific components including: Define subsystems and their interfaces, allocate responsibilities to subsystems, understand solution deployment, and communicate requirements for interactions with solution context; Align development teams to a shared technical direction and partners with those teams in elaborating the Solution and its interfaces;Validate technology assumptions, evaluate implementation alternatives; Establish critical NFRs at the solution level, participate in the definition of others.Create and enable the Continuous Delivery Pipeline including:Participate in planning, definition, and high-level design of the system solution and explore alternatives; Develop the Architectural Runway in support of new business Features and Capabilities; Work with portfolio stakeholders, Solution and Enterprise Architects, to develop, analyze, split, and realize the implementation of enablers; Participate in project planning, system and solution demos, retrospective workshops; Understand technical characteristics of and assist with architectural integration of external components, systems, and platforms.

Required Experience:

Requires 5-8 years experience in product owner role or related technology rolePrevious experience in corporate applications.System integrationSolid understand of financial systems and regulationsAgile and Scrum Proficiency

Desired:

Preferred Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, or Math; Developer nanodegree; or equivalent experienceWorkday

Education:

Our Lead System Engineering, earns between $143,800.00-$215,800.00 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
