Lead Systems Specialist
Job Description Responsibilities:  Lead on-site control systems projects from planning to completion.  Perform or delegate tasks such as hardware design, system programming, installation coordination, system and network commissioning, and project closeout.  Manage project financials including costs, billings, and collections.  Balance customer satisfaction with project financial results.  Pursue and manage change orders.  Coordinate communication with customers throughout the project.  Ensure compliance with legal and safety standards.  Provide work direction to subcontractors and internal staff. Principal Duties: 1. Design and program installation hardware and software. 2. Pursue additional work through change orders and communicate with clients. 3. Manage selection, ordering, budget, and delivery of project materials. 4. Secure pricing and availability from vendors and subcontractors. 5. Coordinate jobsite activities and ensure installation meets requirements. 6. Load, verify, and commission system controllers, ensuring proper operation. 7. Manage project costs, billings, and collections to maintain profitability. 8. Provide coaching and technical assistance to team members and subcontractors. 9. Communicate project status to management and provide monthly forecasts. 10. Ensure proper execution of project warranties. Skills and Requirements Technical associates degree with 2 years of field experience or 4 years of equivalent experience in HVAC. Hands-on experience in designing and commissioning digital HVAC control systems. Knowledge of control theory, HVAC systems, project accounting, costing principles, and contracting preferred.
