About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Talent & Performance Management Consultant to join our transforming team and support the implementation of proactive Talent Management initiatives across the enterprise. This collaborative position will work closely with members of various Human Resources divisions, as well as with senior leaders in the Consumer, Small & Business Banking (CSBB) Line of Business.
As we explore opportunities to provide solid career pathing, succession planning, and team effectiveness, the Lead Talent & Performance Management Consultant will work closely with members of the Human Resources Advisory function.
In this role, you will:
Lead complex initiatives, designing, and implementing programs for performance management, leadership development, individual staff assessment, and succession planning including those that are cross functional with broad impact and act as key participant in large scale planning for Talent Management
Partner with members of various Human Resources Centers of Excellence (COEs) for application of Talent Management initiatives to nuanced divisions of the enterprise.
Review and analyze complex, larger scale, team operational engagement strategies, talent systems, mentoring programs, succession planning, and technical challenges, that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors
Ensure that leadership development happens at an appropriate level that meet the current and future needs companywide
Make decisions in complex and multi-faceted situations requiring a sound understanding of Talent Management policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that influence and lead broader work team to meet deliverables and drive new talent and performance initiatives
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level to experienced managers to provide proactive solutions around talent concepts
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Human Resources or Talent Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Financial services industry experience
Demonstrated ability to navigate a complex HR and Shared Services environment in a matrixed organization
Ability to drive process change and improvement to enable the client while managing risk
Excellent communication (oral and written) with ability to communicate and influence executives, senior leaders, Line of Business stakeholders and other internal partners
Strong analytical skills including analyzing data
Proven ability to facilitate and drive prioritization discussions with diverse audiences
Proven ability to be innovative and creative in meeting customer and enterprise needs
Strong time management skills including the ability to handle multiple deliverables concurrently
Professional presentation skills and proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint
Excellent interpersonal skills with a consumer-centric perspective to resolve conflicts and prioritize output
Job Expectations:
Ability to travel up 10%
