The Lead Tax Manager is responsible for overseeing corporate billing system projects, from ideation through to completion, while ensuring compliance with tax legislation. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, manage budgets, and communicate impacts to leadership. Your role will also include analyzing and interpreting tax laws to minimize legal tax liabilities and ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead and manage corporate billing system projects across the enterprise.
Develop and document project scope and business requirements.
Organize and lead calls to address project issues and create testing scenarios.
Manage project budgets and ensure all deadlines are met.
Analyze and interpret existing and upcoming tax legislation (federal, state, local, and foreign).
Advise management on the tax and related accounting implications of activities.
Exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies to achieve results.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Typically requires 5-7 years of experience in a related field.
