**Job Title: Lead Technical Machine Operator**
**Job Description**
Working under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing quality car care products by operating, monitoring, and adjusting production equipment along the operation’s high-speed production lines.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operating and maintaining high-speed production lines.
+ Filling different types of packaging containers from pint size to 55-gallon drums.
+ Achieving or surpassing established production standards.
+ Making equipment adjustments.
+ Preparing processing equipment by making setup adjustments and assisting with changeovers.
+ Documenting production processes by completing logs, calculating statistics, and noting the receipt, flow, and return of materials.
+ Preparing trainees for production responsibilities by demonstrating teamwork, leadership, and following standard operating procedures.
+ Completing production, productivity, inspection, downtime, and safety reports.
+ Maintaining quality standards by conducting first-piece and line inspections.
+ Reporting production and quality issues by recording data and reporting unresolved issues to the supervisor.
+ Inspecting equipment and its parts to assure conformance to specifications.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2-5 years of production operations experience, particularly in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
+ Experience in a high-speed line manufacturing or processing industry.
+ Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
+ Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control and standards, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective production of goods.
+ Ability to read gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure proper machine operation.
+ Excellent diagnostic, troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Lead experience is a plus.
+ Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hernando, Mississippi.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
