The Lead Quality Control Technician, QC Sample Management, Inventory will be the primary point of contact for management of QC Retain inventory management. The primary responsibilities of this position include maintaining accurate retain inventory, including completion of periodic inventory inspection. This position will also be cross trained in other areas of QC Sample Management to provide full support to the site team. This position plays a key role supporting the values, culture, and goals for Quality Control Sample Management. This position is a multi-site role.

The role:
Maintain Catalent’s Quality Control sample inventory control program to align with QC and site demandsMaintain accurate retain inventory programs per client and site requirementsEnsure accurate completion of required inventory documentationPreparation of labels and label vials for samples, as requiredWorking with other Catalent teams and sites to ensure on-time fulfilment of inventory-related requestsAs part of a matrix environment, work closely with stakeholders to resolve any quality issuesEnsures compliance with cGMP and safety requirements within the QC laboratoryWork with QC Lab Management to maintain assigned areas in an audit ready statusEffective communication with Quality Leadership regarding status of workThe candidate:
Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Science or related field (Chemistry, Microbiology or Biology preferred)3+ years of relevant work experience in Quality ControlExperience with inventory management in a laboratory setting, preferredExperience in a Quality Control laboratory with high-volume sample throughput, or related experience, preferredPractical working knowledge of applicable GMP regulations, ICH guidelines, FDA guidelines, USP, EP, JP and other applicable regulations and guidanceAbility to analyze information and solve problems relating to Quality ControlLIMS experience preferredThe anticipated salary range for this position in Maryland is $58,240 - $80,080 plus an annual bonus target. The final salary offered to a successful candidate may vary, and will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to: the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, skillset, education, business needs, etc. Catalent is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
