Find out more at www.TransdevNA.com or watch an overview video at https://youtu.be/ilO5cv0G4mQ Lead Technician Transdev is proud to offer: + $40.00-55.00/hour depending on experience + Medical, dental & vision health benefits - Blue Cross Blue Shield * + 401(K) retirement plans + Paid time off and holidays + Career advancement opportunities + Annual boot & tool reimbursement + ASE testing reimbursement + ASE training materials Responsibilities: + Manage transit vehicle maintenance in compliance with company standards and policies + Manage the shift technicians, assign work and parts distribution, + Document all aspects of work orders to the assigned transit vehicles and related mechanical equipment. + Ensure accurate upgrades and/or modifications to coach systems, road calls, and on-the-road repairs, as needed. + Coach and monitor members of the work team. + Other duties as required. Requirements: + A high school diploma, GED or equivalent + Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing a shop and team + Commercial Driving License (CDL) with passenger and airbrake endorsements + Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams and schematics. + Knowledge of Cummins In-Site program and functions + In-depth computer knowledge and the ability to scan and diagnose trouble codes + Excellent communication skills + Ability to work with operations for successful vehicle pull outs, interpret safety documents, blueprints, schematics, and other mechanical diagrams. + DOT physical examination and drug test. Preferred: + ASE Certification.
