Work Schedule 2-week Rotation: Week 1: Wednesday 1:00PM -11:30PM, Thursday-Saturday 9:00PM-7:30AMWEEK 2: Sunday-Wednesday 9:00PM-7:30AM

Shift Differential pay: 2nd shift $1.75hour 3rd shift $2.25/hour

Location: 2211 NE 139th Street Vancouver, WAJob Duties/ResponsibilitiesAssist the supervisor with the day to day operations of the laboratorySend daily, weekly and monthly production reports to managementAssist with the training of new hires and the development of current employeesKeep supervisor informed of group progress, problems, employee performance and any significant factors affecting assigned responsibilitiesDetermine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteriaPerform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to SOPsMonitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionalityPrepare, test and evaluate new reagents or controlsReport accurate and timely test results in order to deliver quality patient carePerform and document preventive maintenance and quality control proceduresIdentify and replenish testing bench supplies as necessaryAssist with processing of specimens when neededMaintain a safe work environment and wear appropriate personal protective equipmentRequirements Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology or meet local regulatory (CLIA & State) requirementsMinimum 2 years previous experience as Technician/TechnologistASCP and/or AMT Certification/Generalist required.Prior supervisory or leadership experience is preferredUnderstanding of laboratory operations as well as policies and proceduresProficient with Laboratory Information Systems and Microsoft OfficeStrong communication skills; both written and verbalHigh level of attention to detail with strong organizational skillsComfortability making decisions in a changing environmentAbility to handle the physical requirements of the position

Pay range: $35.00- $55.00
