The Lead Testing Engineer will be responsible for developing, supporting and utilizing test systems located at the ALRTC in Claremore. These tasks include working with Product Development Engineers to specify the correct instruments and processes for testing, troubleshooting test processes, developing safe testing, and system operation procedures.
As a Lead Testing Engineer you will:
Collaborates with Product Engineers to ensure that test system capabilities are factored into proposed test plansInterfaces and coordinates with Lab Technicians to ensure that testing is executed to the test planAnalyzes and applies statistical methods to test data for test improvementReview new test setups for electrical and/or mechanical safetyProvides a mentoring relationship to other engineers, technicians, and interns.Effectively communicate to both management and fellow technical colleaguesWrite system procedures following accepted guidelines. Advise on apparatus design improvements that will improve test validity, decrease test time, and ensure safety to both equipment and personnel throughout the life of the apparatus.Responsible for design and construction of test apparatus, facilities, and instrumentation systemsCommunicates ideas, troubleshooting and possible solutions with cross-functional partner organizations. Troubleshooting test systems or apparatus to keep positive testing up time.
