Lead Trainer
General Description: The RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Lead Trainer is responsible for overseeing the training and development of RBTs within the organization. The Lead Trainer ensures that all RBTs receive comprehensive and ongoing training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques and that their skills are consistently evaluated and enhanced to meet both organizational standards and the unique needs of the neurodivergent learners served. This role includes conducting training sessions, mentoring new hires, and providing feedback. Roles and Responsibilities: 1.Training Delivery: + Provide training sessions to newly hired Behavior Technicians on the basics of ABA Therapy. + Facilitate roleplay activities to engage trainees and help them practice various ABA techniques. + Participate in six shadow sessions as a lead Behavior Technician, mentoring new Behavior Technicians in real-world scenarios. + Implement comprehensive training programs for new RBTs and ongoing professional development for current staff. + Conduct hands-on training in ABA principles, data collection, behavior management strategies, and intervention techniques. 2. Collaboration and Support: + Collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and District Managers to ensure the training program meets the needs of new hires. + Answer trainee questions and provide support regarding the Behavior Technician role. + Schedule training sessions with newly hired employees. + Support the behavior technician with implementation of 1:1 ABA-based therapy. 3. Admin Responsibilities + Update training tracker on the region assigned + Bill 1:1 services in cases where support is provided. + Write session notes for every rendered session Requirements: Qualifications: + Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification. + Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field. + Experience in the ABA field as a Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Skills and Abilities: + Ability to effectively engage and motivate trainees during the training program. + Strong knowledge of ABA Therapy principles and techniques. + Ability to collaborate with other trainers, BCBAs, and Program Supervisors to maintain the quality and effectiveness of training. + Ability to implement constructive criticism to improve training methods. + Strong communication skills for answering questions and providing guidance. + Availability to attend training sessions in person within their assigned
