As a Lead Valve and Rotating Equipment Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the optimization, development, and troubleshooting of manufacturing processes for Masoneilan Control valves You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our products meet stringent industry standards for safety, reliability, and performance. You will also lead initiatives to improve operator efficiency, technician safety, and overall labor productivity while ensuring the highest levels of product quality.
As a Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Analyzing and optimizing assembly and testing processes for control valves and rotating equipment to ensure high safety, quality, and efficiency standards.Reviewing customer orders, creating accurate and efficient job routings in SAP, and ensuring alignment with customer specifications and internal capabilities.Designing and developing test fixtures and equipment for in-house testing. Identifying opportunities to expand testing capabilities and executing solutions to meet customer and industry demands.Evaluating cycle times, eliminating non-value-added activities, and implementing process improvements to reduce lead times and labor costs without compromising quality or safety.Leading efforts to enhance technician safety, improving assembly and testing methods, and ensuring the highest standards of product quality while reducing labor time.Leading projects to improve operator utilization, reduce overtime, and maximize overall production throughput.Diagnosing and troubleshooting control valve instrumentation, including positioners, solenoid valves, volume boosters, and limit switches.Working with production, quality assurance, R&D, and procurement teams to ensure smooth implementation of new processes and ensure products are manufactured to the highest standards.Driving continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing product reliability, reducing manufacturing costs, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

To be successful in this role you will:
Possess a Bachelors Degree in EngineeringHave 4 years of experience in manufacturing engineering with a strong focus on control valves in oil & gas, refining, or petrochemical industriesBe proficient in SAP or similar ERP systems for job routing or order managementHave extensive knowledge of control valve types (globe, butterfly, ball valves, etc.) and rotating equipmentPossess a strong background in Lean Manufacturing, process optimization, cycle time reduction, and elimination of non-value-added activities.Have hands-on experience with valve instrumentation diagnostics (e.g., positioners, solenoid valves, volume boosters, limit switches).Have proven experience in designing and implementing test fixtures and in-house testing methods for valves and rotating equipment.Have a strong understanding of safety standards and quality control in a manufacturing environment.Possess project management skills with the ability to lead initiatives that improve operator efficiency, reduce overtime, and optimize production throughput.Have excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.Have effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments to drive projects forward.
