Eddy Memorial Geriatric is located in Troy NY and a member of St. Peter’s Health Partners, is seeking a Food Service Worker to join its team in Food & Nutrition Services. Position Summary:

Supervise other wait staff/food service workers to ensure that all jobs are done in a timely mannerSet tables with clean linens, condiments, or other supplies.Work with nursing and other dining staff to serve residentsEnsures all food service department policies and safety rules are followedMaintain adequate supplies of items such as clean linens, silverware, glassware, dishes, and traysWipe tables or seats with dampened cloths or replace dirty tablecloths when neededPerform serving, cleaning, or stocking duties in establishments, such as cafeterias or dining rooms, to facilitate customer serviceServe food to customers when waiters or waitresses need assistance

Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent requiredPrior food service experience required, preferably in a lead positionExperience waiting tables preferred

Pay Range: $16.70 - $20.36

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
