Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Lead Welder! If you have welding experience coupled with a commitment to great customer service, this is the position for you!

Schedule: M-F 5am-1:30pm

Responsibilities:Weld outlets onto steel pipe to serve the fire sprinkler industryPerform specialty welding tasks; spool pieces, flanges, etc.Weld metal structures or equipment to repair or rebuildInspects work for defects, dimensions, alignment, end preparations, and seam splits in pipeAssign work, check work in progress, and verify maintenance workMaintain computerized recordsMentor and teach junior weldersMaintain a clean and safe welding station while conforming to standards of quality and performanceReports all equipment malfunctions, safety issues, and required repairs

Qualifications2 to 3 years of welding experience preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsStrong interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize workload appropriately in order to balance multiple demands and meet timelinesContinued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practicesAttention to detail, demonstrated integrity, and professionalismDesire to learn new thingsAbility to thrive in an inclusive environment

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
