Leader of VAT-IEPS and AEO/CTPAT Certification Compliance (Level 7)
Job Description

Administration of VAT-IEPS, AEO/CTPAT certifications by ensuring compliance and alignement with domestic laws and regulations. Use Control Matrix and automation processes to control activities and Annex 30. Formulate new ways to analyze customs compliance results and drive the business performance forward. Solve problems and develop new methods of analysis to streamline decision-making.

Responsabilities:

Deep understanding of domestic foreign trade and customs laws, regulations and its implementation.Prevent and promote compliance with foreign trade regulations through an internal control program.Understand and have experience in implement the regulations on Customs Tax Deferral Programs (IMMEX, Fiscal Deposit, RFE).Identify improvement opportunities through compliance reviews, involving other areas of the business in the cross-functional compliance of foreign trade to prevent and mitigate risks.Promote strategies where compliance can result in benefits, in addition to being in constant coordination with other cross-functional teams.Ensure that foreign trade operations comply with VAT and IEPS Certification’s specific provisions according to applicable laws and regulations (including the administration of Annex 30).Set out controls and conduct internal assessment to ensure compliance with VAT and IEPS Certification. It emphasizes the need for coordination with relevant areas and business partners in the supply chain and finance.Implement communication protocols to monitor with the legal and tax areas, and in coordination with relevant teams of the company any modifications that are made and that impact any of the AEO obligations.Be the liaison for the AEO and CTPAT Committee to coordinate within company’s relevant teams to monitor the controls and KPIs designed by the AEO Committee to gather evidence of the implementation of security procedures for the purposes of AEO and CTPAT security standards.
