Leadership Development Program Sales - Dallas, TX

We are seeking experienced leaders who understand the importance of supporting others through positive connections and personalized development, while achieving company initiatives with a growth mindset. Make a difference by joining our Leadership Development Program (LDP) in our Auto Sales division. Cohort start dates may range from October through December 2024.

The goal of this program is to develop your expertise and technical acumen as an insurance professional while further developing your leadership skills to help you create an impactful insurance career.

Our program is designed to support, guide, and challenge you to prepare for leadership in any of our competitive and growing lines of business. We are currently interviewing candidates for the LDP in our Auto Sales division.

In this program, you will:

Attend paid, industry-leading training and earn your professional insurance license. Requirements to obtain a professional insurance license may vary.Gain hands-on experience and build credibility by learning and doing the job of a Sales associateBe mentored by successful GEICO managers and directorsMotivate, inspire, and develop a team by using skills learned through the supervisor preparation curriculum, development seminars, and management forumsCoach associates and demonstrate your leadership skillsDemonstrate your ability to achieve top results!

Basic Qualifications:

Ability to work in-office in our Dallas, Texas locationMust be able to speak in a professional manner by telephoneMust be able to attain and maintain the required licenses issued by the insurance departments of various statesMust be able to manage heavy call volume in a fast-paced work environment, resolve complex business problems and handle complicated customer issuesMust be able to follow complex instructions, resolve conflicts or facilitate conflict resolution, and have strong organization/priority setting skillsMust be able to multi-taskMust be able to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural informationMust be able to work varying schedules to meet staffing or phone volume needs

Preferred Qualifications:

Associates degree or higher2+ years prior sales leadership experience managing in a call center environment with responsibility for coaching others and impacting performance resultsWell-developed analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skillsEffective time management, attention to detail, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to be flexible and open to fulfilling the staffing needs of different departments within the company
