It is a Full Time opportunity with a family friendly roster: Mon- Fri, 0600-1430.  Free parking, uniforms, PPE and land maintenance equipment are supplied.

DAY TO DAY ACTIVITIES:

General Land Management/ Grounds maintenance duties included but not limited to the following:

Gardening, Mowing, Brush cutting, Edging, Pruning, Weed, pest and Disease control, Line Marking and Grounds Maintenance which may entail operating tractor mounted equipment  e.g. Slasher and Front End Loader. 

As the Leading hand you will lead the Onsite land management team, by allocating tasks, ensuring quality control and Zero harm standards are met, identifying issues and implementing changes, ensure equipment is maintained to the standard set out by the manufacturer, ensure all daily records are completed.

ABOUT YOU

Certificate III in Horticulture/ relevant qualification or relevant industry experience preferred. Suitability for Defence Security Clearance (Australian citizenship mandatory) Current Driver’s licence with minimum Medium Rigid Licence is required.  High level of expertise in the fields of garden and/or turf and staff management Chainsaw  operators competency (preferred) or willing to undergo training to obtain Basic understanding of apps and computer programs.  High level of understanding and commitment to Zero Harm in the Workplace Have resilience, a 'can-do' attitude and be adaptable.
