Minimum Qualifications:

Position Overview

Safety – Support company safety procedures as well as responsible for reporting any unsafe acts or safety deficiencies to the Supervisor and/or Facility Manager and ensure that all employees comply with the policies associated with all safety procedures. Yard – Responsible individual with a desire to lead, help run and maintain day to day activities.  Lead should be able to remain flexible with daily work duties.  Personnel – Should be able to professionally communicate with all employees. Lead should be able to maintain professionalism and confidentiality when working with yard personnel. The Lead is responsible for administering all breaks and lunches to ensure production is not lost.  Production – Should have a thorough understanding of all material and its location.  Operate heavy equipment of various sizes and weights including but not limited to loaders, cranes, forklifts, etc.  Perform daily material testing.  Equipment- responsible for making sure all equipment is operating properly from the start-up of each machine to the shutting down of the machine.  Responsible for maintaining parts inventory in an organized manner.  Preferred Qualifications: 1-year Leadership Experience in a Team environment Stable work history and ability to identify and differentiate metal materials 1-2 years’ experience operating a skid steer, forklift, front-end loader, etc. Good verbal communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with team and others High school diploma or GED required Ability to perform basic computer functions Bi-lingual in English/Spanish Experience with Safety programs Ability to work overtime and six days a week Basic Job Functions:
