**What You Will Do**
- JOB SUMMARY
Develop, plan, and execute sustainability and agronomic strategies related to leaf material supply and manages suppliers within the Americas region for the Company and Global FMC, OTP and cigar products and requirements. Primary point of contact for leaf suppliers in the Americas, processing due diligence requirements with American leaf suppliers and managing the Americas project delivery that supports the farmer livelihoods and welfare ambition.
- WHAT YOU WILL DO

+ Determine program requirements and third party contracted service requirements and evaluate Supplier Performance to Sustainable Tobacco Program (STP) for Leaf Suppliers. Manage and engage with suppliers to determine corrective actions to meet continuous improvement goals and minimum program requirements. Train suppliers, co-workers, and staff to requirements of STP program.
+ Conduct due diligence reporting requirements on the Leaf Compliance and Reporting E Tool and follow up verifications
+ Collaborate with Group ESG on reporting requirements and the collation these requirements.
Project planning and management of Americas leaf partnership projects that contribute to the farmer livelihoods and welfare ambition.
+ Regional Responsibility for Americas Sustainability- regular co-ordination with suppliers and facilitation of Subject Matter Expert conversations and follow ups
+ Develop, lead, and manage agronomic and leaf partnership projects in the Americas to support sustainable materials, processing, production, development, and goals.
+ Monitor and analyse data for Crop Protection Agent (CPA) compliance for Leaf purchases in the Americas based on Company and Global standards. Manage and partner with suppliers to determine corrective actions to meet continuous improvement goals and minimum requirements for CPA residue compliance.
+ Representative Company on various Agronomic Industry Committees such as Tobacco Variety Evaluation, Pesticide Evaluation and Research.
+ Responsible for compiling and disseminating 5real-time information to Leaf purchasing and other stakeholders related to crop production progress in all Leaf production markets and for all tobacco types in the Americas.
+ Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**
- REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or Agronomy Science/Agricultural Engineering with 5+ years ofAgricultural/Agronomywork experience
+ Certified Crop Advisor, certification for commercial application of agrichemicals, or similar certification
+ Must be 21 years of age or older
Knowledge of:
+ Commercial Agricultural Crop Production
+ Agronomic Research
+ Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams
+ UNGPs, SDGs And relevant legal frameworks

+ Written/verbal proficiency in Spanish and Portuguese
**Work Environment and Physical Demand**
+ Requires light physical effort. Occasionally lifts or moves light objects (under 10 lbs.).
+ Walks, sits, or stands for prolonged periods.
+ Requires prolonged machine operation including computer and keyboard equipment.
