Key missions of the position: Promote the continuous improvement culture across the organization, implement Kaizens, Lead 7S journey, drive cost reduction projects, and streamline manufacturing operations to improve SQPDC
Responsibilities:
Responsible for Lean culture promotion across the business unitResponsible for 7S journey promotion and implementationResponsible for Kaizens execution Approx. 1000 per yearCoach teammates on Continuous Cost Reduction projects identification and execution; achieve savings > MINR 30 per yearCoach the cross functional leaders on Value Stream Mapping and execute actions along with themCoach the cross functional leaders on Strategic A3 development for Rohtak Site as per Global Wabtec Guidelines (Safety, COPQ, PPM, BO, COTD and Inventory Turns) Streamline and Improve the MFG, PMD and PED practicesChallenge and Eliminate questionable practices with CFTCoach and Mentor teams on LT reduction, RFT improvement projectsCoach and mentor teams on Gold Standard and Brilliant WH initiativesResponsible to Develop and Design Lean Processes, improve efficiencies, reduce cost in sustainable way and delight internal and external customer satisfaction.Responsible to implement JIT sytem, Kanban system and 2-bin systemDrive Lean Projects on Warehouse space reduction, Warehouse efficiency improvement (Picking time reduction, no. of manpower reduction, automation activities etc): Packaging Cost reduction, Alternative solutions of packaging etcDrive lean projects on Logistics cost reduction: Optimization and consolidation etc..Candidate Profile
