Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it. **What You Will Do** The Manufacturing Engineering Department at Caterpillar Leicester is involved in two areas of work, improving current manufacturing processes and design/develop new processes and technologies, before introducing to the Production environment. As a **Manufacturing Engineering Technician** , you will provide day to day support to the operations teams for all products built at Building Construction Products, Leicester. You will assist in the creation, development, implementation, and documentation of new processes to optimise safety and efficiency across the Paint facility. You will provide support for the design, development, and implementation of innovative solutions, systems, and advanced technology to deliver the Paint Optimus Project portfolio. Work assignments may be specialised in nature but may also be broad based with collaboration between teams to complete larger projects. **You will specifically be accountable for driving:** + Draft assembly processes to establish current process base line. + Support new process development of current products. + Create, update and audit Standard Work documentation (including Risk Assessments) + Make suggestions to support driving safety, quality & velocity improvements **NB.
