Job DescriptionKey responsibilities include:
Provide overall Lean leadership and simplification to key areas of supply chain.Responsible for partnering with plant and business leaders to define the key value streams that will have the greatest impact on the business and the customerWork with the operating leaders to develop strategic deployment planning as well as specific goals and priorities that drive lean principles and concept across the businessServe as a change agent by influencing, communicating and institutionalizing a culture of simplification and standardizationCoach Lean Manufacturing Leaders and plant leadership in the use of Lean tools and the simplification methodology to drive significant business impactImprove customer satisfaction and reduce cycle-time on specific wing to wing processesConduct regular value stream reviews with Lean Manufacturing Leaders to assure the team drives significant and measurable business impactCommunicate progress, status and issues to the business leadersSeek, share and institutionalize best practicesQuality Specific Goals:
1. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
2.Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
3.Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
4. Proactively simplify the work instructions, procedures and processes within the value stream to drive continuous improvement of the Quality Management System.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college or High school diploma/GED and 4 years work experience
2. At least 5+ additional years of experience in a functional business environment.
3. Understands Lean toolset with proven results
Preferred Qualifications:
1. MBA
2. 7 years+ additional years of experience in manufacturing industry
3.Lean Leader or Black Belt preferred
4.Change agent with strong credibility and influence in the organization 5.Demonstrated ability to motivate others and achieve results
6.Strong analytical and quantitative skills
7.Strong Englishoral and written communication skills
8. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
