GENERAL SUMMARY

The Discovery Bay Learning Academy is a state-licensed childcare and early childhood education facility within PRO Club. The Assistant Teacher will possess strong educational skills, with a background in classroom teaching or group tutoring.  In collaboration with the Lead Teacher, the Assistant Teacher will provide high quality youth programs to our members, bringing a positive, professional attitude, and knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices.

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS Supervise and ensure safety of children in classroom settings. Engage in warm, caring interactions and fun, imaginative play with children. Implement positive guidance techniques and maintain classroom control. Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe classroom environment.
