What will I be doing?
As a Learning and Development Coordinator, you are responsible for organising, delivering, and evaluating training programs to deliver an excellent staff experience. A Learning and Development Coordinator will also be required to support and advise management on proper policies and procedures. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
\n\nSupport and advise Managers on proper policies and procedures\nSupport the hotel with departmental training requirements\nOrganise, deliver, and evaluate training programmes as required\nManage succession planning with senior managers during the bi-annual appraisal process\nManage employee relations issues in the hotel in a confidential manner, including disciplinaries, grievances, and capability\nEnsure absence monitoring is in line with company guidelines\nMaintain online personnel system, payroll system, and monthly reporting\nEnsure recruitment and selection process is adhered to and ensure that appropriate immigration checks are carried out\nEnsure completion of training for hotel security, fire regulations and other health and safety legislation\nAssist in the organisation of Team Member social events\nWork with local organisations and schools to promote the hospitality industry\nPromote and endorse staff benefits\nAssist and resolve team member and management queries\nWhat are we looking for?

\n\nPrevious experience in Training Coordinator or equivalent role\nPositive attitude\nGood communication and people skills\nCommitted to delivering a high level of customer service, both internally and externally\nExcellent grooming standards\nFlexibility to respond to a range of different work situations\nAbility to work under pressure\nAbility to work on their own or in teams\n\nIt would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
\n\nCIPD qualified or working towards qualification, or equivalent\nKnowledge of hospitality\nGood knowledge of employment law and employee relations\nIT proficiency\n\n
