We're seeking to hire an experienced learning and development professional who can lead and grow our capabilities to develop leaders at ColonialWebb. Our Learning and Development Manager will design, manage and execute the Company’s learning and development ecosystem, focusing on leadership development programs and strategic utilization of outsourced training and development.
Use your expertise in adult learning, leadership programs and employee development to shape current and future leaders. This “working” manager will be responsible for collaboration with subject matter experts, instructional design, building/supervising a team, project/program management, coordination, facilitation, observation, and measurement of learning and development programs. What you will do:
+ Support and execute leadership development programming vision within the organization.
+ Design, execute, and manage training and development programs for aspiring business leaders and operations/field leaders (i.e., leaders, managers, supervisors, etc.).
+ Expand and coordinate strategic utilization and leverage of outsourced training programs.
+ Build and manage a team of learning and development professionals.
+ Support the implementation and management of Workday Learning (LMS), focusing on tracking training and certifications, managing learning content, assessing Apprentice competencies, and implementing other features to streamline and enhance our learning and development infrastructure
+ Collaborate with business unit leaders and Talent Business Partners to develop, identify, and deploy training and development in alignment with business strategy and deploy solutions for better understanding and use of enterprise tools, applications, and resources.
+ Collaborate with SMEs to develop curriculum and facilitate education classes to support business unit needs.
+ Leverage and analyze data to inform decision making and derive actionable insights that drive individual plans and cohort development training/development effectiveness. Design means and methods to measure all training provided. Observe training classes and audit development programs to ensure quality outcomes and learning experiences that meet company standards and expectations.
+ Leverage external resources and develop additional programs as needed; research and design initiatives to enhance leadership skills, drive change, and foster innovation.
+ Expand Supervisor/Manager/SME skillset growth for teaching, coaching and training facilitation, and build an effective “train-the-trainer” model to further a culture of continuous learning and development.
You should have:
+ 10+ years’ experience in the development and execution of leadership and employee training/development programs in a business environment.
+ Strong understanding, application, and experience of adult learning within an enterprise, instructional design, employee development programs, and leadership development.
+ Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field of study; applicable learning and development credentials and certifications preferred.
+ Leadership experience, credibility, and competence.
+ Demonstrate excellence in influencing, teamwork, project management, and teaching skills.
+ Ability to interact effectively at all levels within the organization.
+ Technological proficiency with LMS applications, Microsoft Office, Internet research, and various apps.
+ Ability to travel as needed across the Company’s footprint to other operating locations, job sites, and customer facilities within the business unit.
