EisnerAmper is in search of a Learning and Development (L&D) Manager. This position is a member of the Advisory Operations Team and reports to the Advisory Resource Manager. We are seeking a self-motivated individual who has experience in a public accounting or consulting firm, has a passion for teaching others and understands the changing landscape of learning modalities.

Our ideal candidate will possess the ability to work with Advisory leaders and business stakeholders to assess the technical, leadership and growth skills learning needs of our Advisory professionals from interns through Partner.  They must reliably exhibit sound judgement, welcome accountability for results, be consistently solution oriented and thrive working in a dynamic, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment requiring a high degree of productivity, adaptability, and follow-through. This role will be based in our Iselin, NJ office.

Responsibilities In partnership with EisnerAmper University (EAU):

Develop and implement a learning and development strategy that supports the learning needs of the Advisory Organization, aligned with its strategic plan, the firm’s technology initiatives and the evolving skillset of Advisory professionals.

Develop and implement defined appropriate experience- level learning paths for all Advisory professionals from entry level to Partner with clear objectives, change management, communication and metrics plans prior to launch.

Champion and market learning and development opportunities within the Advisory Organization to ensure professional level commitment and participation.

Ensures appropriate training plans are in place for new hires for various firm systems & departmental processes.

Work collaboratively with Advisory leadership, Talent Management, and EAU to identify skill gaps and develop and implement training to bridge those gaps, with measurable objectives and outcomes.

Research, prepare business cases for and leverage appropriate learning technologies and modalities to optimize the learning experience to maximize retention and the return on investment.

Support internal Advisory instructors with the identification of topics, creation of materials and exercises to create engaging and instructionally sound courses and classes.

Support internal Advisory instructors with creating NASBA required materials within NASBA timelines to ensure that every opportunity to provide CPE to Advisory colleagues is optimized.  Promote CPE offerings, track the Advisory Organizations CPE status, work with Advisory colleagues to identify relevant courses to meet their CPE needs and ensure accountability with CPE requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or equivalent field required

7 + years of experience in technical and leadership learning and development initiatives

5+ years of experience in a Public Accounting Advisory practice or a Consulting Firm is preferred
