The Learning Business Partner, Tax provides crucial support to our Tax practice. In this key role, the individual leads the learning and development initiatives for the entire Practice including:
Forming key stakeholder relationships with Tax Partners, People Partners (HRBPs), People Program Management, People Operations and key Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
Analyzing learning needs through job skill analysis and working with the L&D Team to recommend impactful learning solutions
Aligning learning objectives to practice area competencies and job skills
Organizing the logistics involved in setting up internal and virtual learning events.
Coordinating all aspects of the learning process from needs analysis to delivery when required
Implementing training policies and procedures in coordination with the L&D Team
Supporting new hires and experienced professionals to ensure the execution of a differentiated professional development experience for Tax professionals
Coordinating a team of Tax subject matter experts to execute learning deliverables and onboarding initiatives
Job Responsibilities
Lead the coordination of Tax employee onboarding
Design and manage biannual Intern training programs for college students
Create training and development strategy and execution for the Tax team in alignment with the L&D Team and key Firm initiatives
Deliver periodic reporting to track self-study progress and course completion
Work with SMEs and L&D team to create and curate appropriate and impactful learning materials and deliveries
Coordinate and manage ongoing training initiatives
Handle the project coordination of training programs
Coordinate delivery of learning across the various Armanino offices and remote employees
Manage the Tax learning programing across all levels of professionals
Curate learning curriculum from external vendor catalogs as needed
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience
Minimum 3 years’ experience with adult learning theory and curriculum development in a professional setting
Experience in a consultative learning role and managing learning programs
Able to handle confidential information with discretion and maturity while maintaining a high degree of professionalism
Able to interface with all levels of the organization as a primary point of contact for Tax learning
Experience with Learning Management Systems
Preferred Requirements
Prior experience working as a tax professional
Prior experience working in Learning and Development at a public accounting firm

For Illinois residents, the compensation range for this position: $76,200-$89,700. For New York residents, the compensation range for this position: $83,900-$98,700. For Washington residents, the compensation range for this position: $83,900-$98,700. For Southern California residents, the compensation range for this position: $83,900-$98,700. For Northern California residents, the compensation range for this position: $87,700-$100,000. Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location.
