We are now looking for a Learning Design Expert to join our team working for a better future. This post holder advises Competence Owners/Drivers and Subject Matter Experts on best learning design approaches according to common guidelines. As a core team member, they will contribute to learning technology projects (as part of the HR Tech Roadmap). You will manage the Wärtsilä Data & Digi global learning portfolio.
The location is any relevant Wärtsilä Europe location.
Success in the role is measured by following KPIs:
Learning impact measurement as per defined learning design process Evidenced successful implementation of learning tech projects Learning portfolio management KPIs as per defined end-to-end learning process
What you will be doing?
As a Learning Design expert, your work will focus on these responsibilities:
You will provide a hands-on advisory on learning solution design across the Wärtsilä learning portfolios and according to the Learning Mode of Operation and as commonly prioritised. Operate in a consultative manner with competence owners/drivers and SMEs on the best learning approaches. Be a key contributor to Learning Tech projects bringing a good understanding of learning (technology) trends and apply them to the Wärtsilä HR Tech landscape and user requirements. You will assist in translating requirement sets into feasible project plans with HR Tech. This role requires you to manage Wärtsilä Data & Digi global learning portfolio together with competence area owners, drivers and SMEs.
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:
Good understanding of learning design and pedagogical methodologies and best practices Ability to consult competence stakeholders on the most impactful learning approaches Solid learning technology expertise from multiple domains and tools Project and portfolio management experience Good collaboration and communication skills Self-leadership and Growth Mindset with eagerness to learn new things Business acumen MSc in relevant field Additional qualifications in pedagogical and learning design area Practical experience in designing impactful learning solutions Experience of working in a complex, global organisational environment
In this role, some travel is required to meet with our customers and stakeholders around the world. Thus, we hope you to be ready to travel approximately 10%, even though most of the meetings are held virtually.
