Learning & Development Coordinator, Studios

**About the Role & Team**
The Learning & Talent Coordinator supports the Learning and Talent departments for The Walt Disney Studios population by providing support for learning opportunities, services and programs to build employee capabilities, programs that develop future leaders and retain key talent to drive business objectives. Primary responsibilities of this position include Studio-wide program coordination, platform/ technology support, logistics, employee communication, course content production and curation, vendor communication, metrics calculations, workshop facilitation and general office administrative tasks. This role is for an enthusiastic, highly collaborative individual who possess a passion for learning, talent for organization and the ability to deliver results! **What You Will Do**
**Facilitation**
+ Facilitate segment-wide in-person and virtual workshop offerings on a variety of topics, as needed (including, but not limited to, orientation and professional-level skill-building)
**Program Support & Logistics**
+ Own scheduling, logistics, and producing responsibilities for all learning and career events (virtual and in-person). Includes confirming schedule, room booking/setup/equipment, Zoom setup/ producing/ troubleshooting, catering requests, vendor requests, and general support to facilitator.
+ Provide administrative support to Director, L&D and Talent with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
+ Coordinate and maintain the Studio Learning and Talent calendar, including room reservations, training schedule, etc.
+ Own design, distribution and monitoring of communication for segment-wide courses, cyclical programs, and events, including: invitations, reminders, materials, surveys/evaluations, learner inquiries, vendor instructions, etc.
+ Update and maintain materials supporting learning and career, including presentation decks, job aids, participant guides, handouts, reports, forms.
+ Maintain regular, reliable in-office presence for onsite learning or career related needs/events
+ Collaborate and partner with HR Workforce, PMO and Analytics team for reporting and project management tasks, including: create forms, pull data, and prepare summary on evaluations, surveys, attendance reports, etc.
+ Work with cross-functional segment partners to create and maintain career workflows for coaching client talent handoff
**Administrative Support**
+ Own department inbox, serving as first point-of contact responding and following up with inquiries for learning and career development. Maintain Outlook record inventory management.
+ Serve as main department contact for ordering office supplies and equipment, distribute mail, shipping materials while effectively and professionally interfacing with high-level executives, clients, business associates, and employees
+ Update and maintain virtual team library, including documents on Microsoft Teams, workshop supplies, etc.
+ Provide financial support for purchase orders, invoices, A/P uploads, charge backs
+ Other administrative duties as assigned, which may include travel coordination for facilitators or vendors
**Technology Support**
+ Learning Management System (D Learn): Create and schedule courses, prepare class rosters, give credit for attendance, track enrollment/no show/cancellation and report charge backs, research historical data and run reports as needed, upload relevant content
+ Performance Management System (Workday): Run status reports, pull historical information/data, coordinate with key stakeholders to resolve issues, serve as primary administrative point-of-contact on Workday-related work or requests (e.g. Talent/ Succession planning, Employee/ Manager correspondence, Career Profile creation and maintenance, etc.)
+ Learning and Talent My Disney Today page: Perform site modifications/maintenance, ensures site information is up-to-date, provide analytic insight, conduct dynamic content hosting/ cycling, utilize best practices to ensure site feels contemporary and relevant
+ Ad-hoc reporting through other platforms
**Marketing & Communications Support**
+ Prepare and distribute program-specific marketing emails and create audience-specific distribution lists
**Qualifications**
**Required**
+ Minimum 1-2 years prior work experience in a fast-paced corporate environment
+ Advanced skills in MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Bookings, Forms)
+ Available to support onsite learning & career events in the Burbank area, as needed
+ Proactive and self-motivated with a passion for continuous learning and development.
+ Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
+ Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
**Preferred**
+ General HR knowledge/experience and Learning & Development experience
+ Experience producing virtual meetings (e.g. Zoom)
+ SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Slack, Smartsheets
+ Familiarity with HRIS systems such as Workday
+ Analytical skills
+ Event planning, project management, and/or logistics experience
+ Keen eye for design and creative mindset
+ General understanding of HR / learning and development processes, programs, and policies.
+ Previous facilitation experience
**Education**
+ Bachelor’s Degree
The hiring range for this position in Burbank is $48,500.00-$65,000.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
