Learning & Development Manager
WHAT THIS POSITION IS ABOUT - PURPOSE:
Responsible to successfully oversee and manage the design, development, delivery and implementation of learning and development programs through effective learning culture strategies, clear and deliberate instructional design, quality and cost effective sustainable development interventions, and talent analytics. Ensures talent learning and development initiatives meet objectives on time and on budget through effective application of Learning Academies and collaborative development with learning champions across the organization. Will serve as the chief learning advocate for line leaders to help fulfill the role as a people development champion.
WHAT WILL YOU DO - RESPONSIBILITIES:
Learning and Development Strategist Review, realign, and redesign learning and development strategies based on organization function and strategies and global initiatives Design and deliver high quality, high impact talent learning and design interventions on time and on budget based on leadership and functional competencies Design training profiles for critical business roles identifying both mandatory and elective training and development which support the needs of the business Introduce best practices including innovative and practical talent learning solutions to help drive organization excellence Support Integrated Talent Management delivery of Learning academy across functions including its design, execution, and maintenance
Learning and Development Thought Leadership Research potential new learning activities and approaches that enhance learner experience and training effectiveness Bring a point-of-view and thought leadership in the areas of Instructional Design including effective and appropriate training delivery approaches on curated learning programs and interventions Collaborate extensively with PC Functions, in particular the Business Partner team, to provide integrated and aligned solutions for the business requirements; Measure and report effectiveness of newly developed programs using defined measures Drives the efficiency and effectiveness of the talent learning and development process, including regular process reviews and updates to ensure relevance and alignment to the business environment Monitors the effectiveness of Talent Learning programs and interventions, makes recommendations for improvements and drives the realization recommended benefits
Learning and Development Business Partner Partner with key partners to reimagine learning and development management to provide proactive and strong advice as to how learning can enhance business performance Partner with key stakeholders and solutions providers to ideate learning enabling interventions to increase employee contribution, grow capabilities, empower career, deepen connections, and align rewards / recognition In collaboration with local, regional, and global stakeholders, deepen existing learning and development framework Empower people managers to actively coach and support their direct reports in career planning, coaching, and career aspirations / interests
Others Owns financial administration of budgeting and accounting for talent identification / development, performance intervention activities, and resources Provide assistance to the P&C Integrated Talent Management Manager and P&C Team when required.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR - REQUIREMENTS:
Degree in Human Resources or related business degree. Learning and Development design certification is an advantage. Must have at least 3-5 years of progressive learning and development, business partnering, and experience in managing learning academies in complex organizations with exposure to audience at various levels of the organization. Strong skills in competency based development strategies and application to provide insights that diagnose talent learning and developmental opportunities, and measure the effectiveness of interventions. Proven expertise and track record of success in learning and development strategies, instructional design, project management, and consulting. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail to present complex topics in a clear and concise manner to audience at various levels of the organization. Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Power Point, Outlook) and intermediate to advanced at Excel. Data Analytics Tools exposure (e.g. PowerBI, Alteryx, Tableau, Advanced Excel)
