The Learning & Development Manager:
co-ordinates and organizes a range of development activities that contribute to the attainment of the Company’s clearly prescribed performance standards and Hotel Goals
must systematically analyze the Hotels training needs and deliver relevant learning
plans and co-ordinates the production of Departmental Training Plans
acts as an internal consultant to Heads of Departments on department related training issues
sources and recommends appropriate external training organizations or resources
maintains a current knowledge of statutory requirements
develops creative and innovative training programs
What we are looking for:
College degree or equivalent experience required
Minimum of 3 years experience working in a managerial capacity;
Experience in adult education or a similar environment;
Experience in hotel operations, preferably luxury hospitality or other service environments;
Experience managing in diverse cultures.

Excellent communication skills
Facilitation skills
Instructional design skills
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills (i.e. ability to identify when training is the actual solution and provide it if required)

What to Expect
Salary range: $70,000-$85,000
