Overview Are you interested in playing a significant role in our learning and development culture? Orkin’s Northeast Division is seeking a full-time Learning & Development Specialist to play a key role in the training of our next generation of leaders. This position will administer and facilitate the Northeast Division's Management Development Program and serve as a key player in our division-wide training initiatives. Responsibilities The primary role of our Learning & Development Specialist is to enhance employee performance, engagement, and organizational success by identifying skill gaps and providing targeted training and development opportunities. This involves creating programs that align with both individual growth and the organization’s strategic objectives, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Plan, organize, and execute 12-month training curriculums tailored to organizational needs, ensuring alignment with business goals. Develop and communicate training calendars to branch leadership, program trainees, and facilitators, ensuring smooth program execution. Conduct regular progress reviews with trainees - identifying areas for improvement and recommending actionable solutions to optimize program outcomes. Create, design, and update presentations, videos, and interactive content to support various training initiatives. Work closely with internal experts to ensure training content remains accurate, up-to-date, and relevant to organizational goals. Lead engaging workshops and deliver training sessions to branch-level leaders, fostering skill development and knowledge retention. Utilize a variety of instructional approaches through in-person, virtual, and self-paced methods to accommodate diverse learning preferences and maximize impact. Manage training programs using LMS platforms including tracking participation, reporting outcomes, and maintaining accurate training records. Drive initiatives that encourage continuous professional development and foster a commitment to growth across all organizational levels. Be willing to travel up to 20% of the time What type of benefits will you receive? Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, or a related field. 1-3 years of experience in learning and development, training facilitation, or instructional design. Strong project management skills, including planning, organizing, and meeting deadlines. Proven track record of creating and delivering engaging training programs.
