Position summary: JMT is looking for a Learning & Development Specialist to oversee our internal programs, including Mentoring, Internship, Consulting 101, and Lead Projects Program. This role will support the Learning & Development Manager in identifying organizational skill gaps and designing innovative, impactful training initiatives. The position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts at all levels within the organization. Compensation for this position is $62,000 - $90,000, commensurate with experience, education and certifications. Essential functions and responsibilities: + Responsible for all aspects of internal training programs, including coordination with internal and external facilitators as well as program participants. + Facilitate and deliver engaging training sessions both virtually and in-person such as DISC, Communication, Time Management, Delegation, etc. + Design and develop training content and programs, including e-learning modules, workshops, and on-the-job training using adult learning and instructional design methodologies. + Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop and continuously enhance training modules. + Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, and implement improvements as needed. + Conduct research to identify additional training needs and resources for employees. + Develop and manage relationships with training vendors to receive high quality training solutions. + Provide customer service and answer questions for staff regarding Learning and Development policies and procedures. + Develop creative materials for programs or learning initiatives utilizing Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc. + Utilize Articulate 360 and Camtasia to develop e-learning courses and training videos to meet the company's needs. + Assist in the management and administration of the Learning Management System (LMS). + Stay current with industry trends and best practices in learning and development.
