We are currently looking for a Learning & Development Specialist/ Learning & Development Sr. Specialist to work in our Houston, TX location. POSITION DESCRIPTION: The ideal candidate will be an experienced, dynamic and innovative Learning and Development (L&D) professional with experience designing, facilitating, and implementing comprehensive learning and development programs. This role involves coordinating training activities, preparing instructional materials, and ensuring that employees have access to ongoing professional development opportunities. The successful candidate must have the ability to interact with a wide range of employees at different levels of the organization in a fast-paced environment. + Collaborate with senior leadership and department heads to assess learning needs and align instructional solutions with strategic business goals and industry trends + Recommend innovative learning solutions and strategies that enhance employee performance and engagement + Develop engaging training content, including virtual and in-person instructor-led sessions, and eLearning courses, as well as oversee all Learning Management System (LMS) content + Monitor and assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and performance metrics + Stay informed about new trends and technologies in learning and development to enhance training experiences REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE: + Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field + 3 -7 years of experience in learning and development, training/talent management, or a related role + Proven experience in designing and implementing successful learning pathways and programs + Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS), eLearning tools, and virtual training platforms + In-depth knowledge of eLearning design and development tools, including Articulate or similar platforms + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels + Analytical mindset with the ability to measure learning outcomes and adapt programs based on data + Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently + Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in learning and development. + Strong proficiency in all MS Office products.
