Learning Experience Specialist & Program Manager, Amazon Pharmacy, Business Integration Team
Description Amazon Pharmacy is seeking a customer-obsessed Learning Specialist Program Manager who enjoys working in and thrives in an innovative, dynamic organization. The Team: Amazon Pharmacy is a subsidiary of Amazon and our Compliance teams are growing rapidly along with the business. Pharmacy is a highly regulated industry and compliance impacts nearly all teams and business operations. The Amazon Pharmacy Risk Management team has the unique ability to see broadly across the org and make a significant impact to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance. We work with our stakeholders to evaluate existing processes and help design new processes that are aligned with federal, state and internal requirements including FDA, DEA, Board of Pharmacy, Accreditation, Federal and State Regulatory and Amazon’s own Code of Conduct and other enterprise policies. The right person for this role has strong passion for learning. They bring experience applying knowledge of learning science, design, and instructional technologies to create and improve learning environments. They program manage through smart use of technology, PM tools, and skills. This individual continuously improves our learner experience using an array of creative approaches which drive productivity, innovation, and operational excellence. Key job responsibilities - Own end-to-end cycle of multiple learning programs. - Program manage multiple small and medium-size learning programs, leveraging selected APL technology. - Operationalize strategy to build and deliver scalable and consistently effective learning products and services. May contribute to strategy development. - Surface and address business and learner needs through rigorous application and documentation of analysis tools (root cause analysis (RCA), performance gap analysis, learning needs analysis). Use data to identify and action high-impact improvement opportunities. - Create, launch, and maintain (evergreen) documentation and learning materials using a variety of authoring/distribution tools and technology. - Design, develop, and deliver bar-raising learning experiences. - Build and administer valid and reliable assessments to gauge learning effectiveness. - Build and apply communication mechanisms to provide the right information to the right audiences at the right time. This includes invitations, scheduling, weekly/biweekly updates, monthly and quarterly business reviews. - Facilitate remote and in-person learning experiences. Basic Qualifications - Pharmacy Technician who holds active and unrestricted State Board of Pharmacy License and National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB and/or NHA). - Familiarity with National Healthcareer Association (NHA) and/ or Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) standards. - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant work experience. - At least one year project management experience. - Proven ability to learn and apply new technology. - Proven ability to write instructions and learning content - Proven ability to facilitate in-person and remote learning experiences demonstrating adult learning principles. - Proven ability to use data to generate actionable insights. - Proven ability to collaborate and earn trust with stakeholders, team members, learner groups, cross-functional business partners. - Able to manage multiple, competing priorities effectively. - Demonstrated experience in risk management and overcoming obstacles. - Ability to travel up to 50% Preferred Qualifications - Instructional design and development experience - Smartsheet proficiency - Technical writing experience - Excellent interpersonal, presentation, written and verbal communication skills required - Minimum two years pharmacy experience. - Knowledge of pharmacy laws, federal and state regulations concerning patient care - Compliance experience in healthcare, preferably in pharmacy setting. - Familiarity with the issues and challenges facing healthcare entities including changes in healthcare and research practices, legal/regulatory changes, and technological trends. - Familiarity with federal and state health services regulations, including Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payers, as well as federal and state privacy rules and regulations. The base pay for this position ranges from $51,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $91,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
