Choice University is the team that provides education to Choice Franchisees and hotel staff and/or contact center associated, local trainers, and teams using a variety of facilitation formats-including in-person, virtual live workshops and webinars, one-on-one sessions, and videos, eLessons, and/or job aids. As a key member of Choice University, you will help drive key business metrics including guest service (LTR), Choice brands, programs, and systems, revenue generation, profitability, and proven hotel operational procedures for hotels.

Your Responsibilities
Support the Learning Experience team with content assignment, updates, user groups, etc. in the Choice U ecosystem for revenue-driving programs.
Assist with the recording of video in the ChoiceU Broadcast Studio, tracking and development/completion of learning updates for videos, e-learning modules, and other resources for all content maintenance efforts.
Tracking, compliance, billing, and communication of tuition-based programs, and handling of related ChoiceU inbox inquiries.
Recommend efficiencies within the complex billing process and recommend ways to drive profitability (either through revenue or cost savings) across our revenue-driving programs.
Support other training development needs across the team, as available.
Your Experience, Skills & Competencies
Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent experience in Education, Instructional Design, Business, or a related field
At least three years of related work experience in business, learning, or performance consulting
Excellent skills in tracking and maintaining monthly files for proper and accurate billing of customers
Strong attention to detail, especially in reviewing numerical/financial information
Understanding of and ability to perform all phases of the instructional design process
Demonstrated ability to balance multiple projects and conflicting priorities to drive results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, problem-solving and presentation skills
Some experience with various e-learning, video, and virtual instructor-led learning software (such as Articulate Storyline, Vyond, Camtasia) and the ability and desire to learn new learning software packages that enhance the learning process
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Demonstrates key competencies to include Drives Results, Action-Oriented, and Self-Development
Your Team
This is an individual contributor role that will report to a Choice University Director. You will collaborate with cross-functional departments on a regular basis.
Your Work Location
As our Learning Programs Coordinator, you will be based in our beautiful, state-of-the-art worldwide corporate headquarters in North Bethesda, MD. Less than 15 miles from Washington, DC, we’re located one block away from the North Bethesda Metro station, with service on the Red Line and the MARC Brunswick line, easy access to I-270, and plenty of free parking provided by Choice Hotels.
Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000 annually.
The pay range listed is for this position and is what Choice Hotels reasonably expects to pay. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.
