Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Learning Services Management Leader to drive strategic oversight and execution of our learning services portfolio across the function. This role will be instrumental in managing and resourcing the holistic portfolio of projects and programs requested and in flight as well as oversight for associates responsible for project planning, capacity management, continuous improvement and commercial learning services. As a key leader, you will ensure MGS learning services meet the highest standards, align with business needs, and are continuously tracked, measured and optimized for efficiency and impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Learning Portfolio Management:Oversee a portfolio of dynamic learning and development projects (functional and business), ensuring successful identification, resourcing, contracting and transparency to stakeholders.Work with stakeholders and requestors to manage the roadmap of learning services projects and, balancing strategic priorities and resource allocation.Lead learning portfolio planning and execution, including gathering inputs and changes, setting KPIs, managing dependencies, and highlighting risks.Bring insights and recommendations to the function and business related to service, process, automation, capacity, resourcing and other value add opportunities aligned to business goals learning services can support.Oversee the internal project management process (S&OP).Contracts & Vendor Management:Oversee the team/associates responsible for strategic sourcing and executing contracts related to learning services, ensuring compliance, effective negotiations, and alignment with business objectives.Continuous Improvement:Oversee the team/associates responsible for Identifying and implement continuous improvement initiatives across all learning services to enhance efficiency, quality, and impact.Develop and maintain metrics to assess service quality and satisfaction, and process effectiveness, using these insights to drive improvements.Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging trends, and innovative solutions to integrate into our global business learning services strategy.Services Definition & Framework Development:Define and refine our learning services offerings on a regular cadence, ensuring they align with organizational goals and the evolving needs of our associates.Develop and maintain a comprehensive services framework, including service catalogs, service-level agreements (SLAs), and key performance indicators (KPIs) to set clear expectations.Create a sustainable, “easier is better” service request and tracking mechanism that provides visibility to volume, process, resourcing and trends and that aligns with the overall MGS service process model.Collaborate with stakeholders across P&O, operations, and business units to tailor services that meet diverse organizational needs and drive value.Develop and oversee a robust internal process that enables and brings visibility to functional wins, risks and opportunities using a data-driven mindset.Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:Serve as the primary point of contact for the business regarding general learning services, ensuring ‘warm transfers’ of requests with minimal touchpointsWork closely with senior leadership, P&O, and department leads to understand and address current and future learning service needs and opportunities.Communicate holistic portfolio milestones, changes, and results to key stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree; a Master’s degree or certification in portfolio management and/or continuous improvement is a plus.5+ years of experience in HR services, project management, or related roles with a background in portfolio management, GBS, services contracting, and continuous improvement.Proven track record in managing complex projects, contracts, and multi-phase initiatives.Expertise in portfolio and project management methodologies, tools, and frameworksExperience developing and implementing continuous improvement processes and services definitions.Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop and interpret data and metrics for decision-making and service enhancements.Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.What can you expect from Mars?

The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, if eligible, including variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Eligibility for these additional elements depend on the position offered and the employee’s work schedule (i.e., part-time schedule, store associate).
