A dynamic individual is sought to join our organization as a highly engaged member of the Commercial Operations and Business Solutions (COBS) Organization. As a key team member in the Commercial Learning and Development (CL&D) function within COBS, the Learning Solutions Specialist will support commercial learning initiatives by coordinating training events, facilitating the onboarding process, managing course registrations and logistics, and curating learning pathways, journeys and curricula in the learning platforms for CL&D.  The Learning Solutions Specialist will be engaged innovative projects that enhance the learning experiences offered by CL&D.   The Learning Solutions Specialist will be an integral member of a culture that fosters continuous improvement, adaptability, and growth. The ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and teammates, combined with problem-solving skills and an enterprise mindset, will be paramount to success in this role. How you will contribute:

The Learning Solutions Specialist is responsible for coordinating and implementing activities within the CL&D Department to aid continuous and effective staff and learner development, in compliance with training requirements and best practices.

Training Coordination

Coordinate learning program events and logistics for CL&D teams.

Maintain relationships with training partners and act as the first point of escalation for CL&D team members.

Assist CL&D stakeholders with content creation, posting, and content maintenance within the Learning Management System (LMS), SuccessFactors, and EdCast LXP (Bloom).

Assists learning professionals with course setup and delivery activities.

Support CL&D teams with LMS activities, such as managing class enrolments and registrations, providing class rosters, completed learning reports, and creating courses and curricula as needed.

Support program planning and day-of activities including material preparation, room venue booking, food and beverage, technology setup, accommodation requests and housekeeping logistics ensuring all are coordinated well in advance of training events

Create calendars, update SharePoint sites, and handle communications as needed

Content Management

Supports storage of learning program materials (slides, assessments, certifications, rubrics) ensuring strong version control.

Recommend appropriate learning systems (Bloom LXP or SuccessFactors LMS) for housing materials, including curricula, source file storage, and archival.

Maintain process documentation for LS&O and CL&D teams, support development and revision of required documents.

Maintains documentation for learning activities (rubrics, class rosters, attendance lists)/

Support maintenance of the training matrix for CL&D teams, ensuring alignment with LMS curricula and automated assignments. Update matrices and curricula as new courses and documents are released.

Work with CL&D leaders to ensure correct training assignments and completions are input in the LMS

Communicate training status to CL&D stakeholder groups, including reporting on completion and providing regular updates to leadership.

Assist with periodic review and refresh of eLearning content supplied by business partner subject matter experts, and ensure LMS curricula are reviewed annually

Onboarding:

Facilitate and maintain onboarding programs for CL&D and Field Onboarding and support onboarding activities for new hires in the commercial teams.

Assign relevant new hire curricula in LMS for CL&D stakeholder groups

Training Others:

Facilitate and deliver process training, guiding new learning professionals in CL&D on ways of working and program delivery.

Assist new trainers on where to gain learning skills.

Cross train within LS&O to support needs of all teams/support of all programs.

Program Management

Assist stakeholder teams during project scoping and entry of project initiation requests.

Collaborate with stakeholder teams to identify tasks for training development projects

Provide operational support for projects involving creating or updating training content.

Initiate and lead small scale continuous improvement projects related to learning operations activities.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor’s in education, Business, Marketing, Human Resources or related field. 

3+ years of experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, life sciences or related industry  

Experience working in any of the following roles: trainer, coordinator, instructional designer in corporate training, learning and development and/or in commercial training.

Experience managing training projects end to end

Experience coordinating and managing training logistics

Proficiency with Microsoft 365, MS Teams and SharePoint is required.

Experience with learning management systems or learning experience platforms

Experience managing required training curricula, role-based assignments 

Basic instructional design experience preferred.

Experience with instructional design eLearning tools such as Articulate 360, RISE etc. is a plus.

Strong organizational planning skills with the ability to set priorities and deliver on deadlines.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to engage with team, leaders and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Ability to demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills

U.S. Base Salary Range:

$67,900.00 - $106,700.00

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location. 

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
