SUMMARY
The Learning Support Specialist is responsible for providing support to ongoing and new learning initiatives in all areas of the business. This role will be intricately involved in all areas of the Learning and Development mission with particular focus on administrative support of local and remote onsite events, communication with participants and vendors, LMS administration, project management, instructional design, assistance with developing and facilitating effective programs, and other administrative duties as required.
RESPONSIBILITIES, other duties may be assigned
Participate in creating and implementing training programsMaintain training records in Workday Learning and other LMS functionsCoordinate classrooms, catering, and support materials for corporate and onsite training coursesAssist with QTS Journey and Data Center Academy sessions to include registration, catering, and other support as neededAct as a point-of-contact for vendors and participantsHelp create online and classroom instructional materials to support learning needsFacilitate training courses as the primary or secondary instructor, as neededTravel up to 25%Other job tasks as requiredBASIC QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalentProject management experience or educationBasic Microsoft office suite experiencePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working within a learning environment or equivalent intern experienceKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with all levels of the organizationBasic project management knowledgeStrong written and verbal communication skillsBasic data entry skillsTOTAL REWARDS
