The Learning Technology Leader will lead the development and implementation of innovative learning technologies and digital learning programs to enhance employee development and organizational effectiveness. This role focuses on the management, development, and enhancement of learning platforms, collaborating closely with technical, operational, and learning teams to drive the enterprise learning technology roadmap, ensuring solutions meet business needs and create scalable, efficient learning experiences. Successful candidates will have experience creating online learning experiences using SCORM, video, and other digital engagement methods and tools.

 

What You’ll Do:

Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive learning technology strategy that supports the company's goals and enhances the employee learning experience. Technology Integration: Identify, evaluate, and implement innovative learning technologies and platforms to support diverse learning needs. Data Analytics: Utilize learning analytics to measure the effectiveness of learning programs and make data-driven decisions to improve outcomes. Develop reports and dashboards. Collaboration: Work closely with HR, IT, and other departments to integrate learning technologies with existing systems and processes. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure the delivery of high-quality learning solutions. Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in learning technology and apply this knowledge to drive continuous improvement. End User Experience:  Demonstrate a passion for providing best-in-class user experiences through platform design, functionality, and innovations. Training and Development:  Develop engaging online learning programs and videos. Upskill L&D, HR, and functional administrators and content creators on platform and author utilization best practices, blended learning approaches, and technical. Compliance and Security:  Oversee the successful deployment of all courseware and functionality to ensure James Hardie stays compliant with all relevant regulations, employment law standards, and cybersecurity best practices.

 

What You’ll Bring:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Information Technology, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field. Experience:  Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in learning technology, instructional design, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of learning management systems (LMS) and other learning technologies deployed at a global scale. Strong preference for experience with SuccessFactors and Axonify Learning Management Platforms. Experience in deploying global learning platform solutions including governance, language, compliance, accessibility, and content management strategies. Experience developing online courseware and video assets using authoring tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Articulate Studio, Camtasia, etc. Experience sourcing and deploying new learning technology platforms and software. Experience deploying, evaluating, and troubleshooting online learning content. High proficiency in reporting and data analytics for executive audiences Excellent project management and organizational skills. Ability to analyze data on learning technology program engagement and performance and make informed, strategic recommendations. Effective communication and people skills. Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners.
