Job Title: Lease Administrator

Essential Function

Extract New Store Leases/Renewals pertinent information for entry into the Store Master.

Primary Duties

60% Reads new Store Leases/Renewals to extract pertinent information for entry into the Store Master. 20% Updates store Landlord address and Rent Escrow changes in the Store Master. 5% Serves as back up to the Admin Assistant for answering and directing departments calls. 5% Generates Agreement Setting Lease Term documents and ensures their timely execution by Landlord and Tenant. 5% Scans Store Leases/Renewals. 5% Types notice vacating letters to landlords,prepare moving and closing maps for advertising.

Knowledge,Skills and Abilities

High School diploma. Two year’s experience in a clerical position,Knowledge of lease language. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word,Excel and Access.

Competencies / Attributes

Good written and verbal communication skills. Strong skills in organizing,attention to detail,accuracy and follow up and problem solving.

Working Conditions /Physical Requirements
 

The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, meeting and training rooms, retail stores, and residences or commercial vehicles, e.g., use of safe work practices with office equipment, avoidance of trips and falls, observance of fire regulations and traffic signals, etc. The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated. The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, files, books, small parts; using a keyboard, driving an automobile, etc. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.
