Lease Administrator
Description Robert Half is pleased to partner with a large and esteemed commercial real estate company to fill a Remote Leasing Administrator position. Key Responsibilities + Lease Management: Manage complex leasing documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards. + Rent Analysis and Payment Processing: Perform thorough rent analysis, including verification and reconciliation, and oversee rent payment processing. + Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analyses, including calculating capital expense allocations (CAP) and gross-up adjustments within lease agreements. + Excel Reporting: Utilize Microsoft Excel and other tools to compile and analyze financial data, including tenant payment records and projections. + Lease Interpretation: Interpret and analyze lease terms and conditions to calculate costs and manage escalations accurately. + Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and summaries to support property management and leasing teams in decision-making. + Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, such as property managers and accounting departments, to ensure smooth lease administration and rent payment workflows. Requirements Qualifications + Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred. + Experience: 3+ years of lease administration experience in commercial real estate or a similar industry. + Financial Skills: Strong proficiency in financial analysis, including CAP calculations and gross-up methodology. + Technical Proficiency: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formula creation). Experience with lease management software is a plus. + Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail when handling rental analysis and lease-related tasks. + Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with stakeholders and create clear financial reports. + Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
