The Leasing Agent's responsibilities may vary slightly based on location; however, strong communication skills and a personable demeanor are key factors to success. The ability to multi-task and be adaptive to changing responsibilities while maintaining a positive attitude are crucial. This position is located in Schaumburg, Illinois.

Tuesday - Friday: 9:30 am - 6:00 pm Saturday: 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Responsibilities

Conduct personalized tours to prospective residents and lease apartments in compliance with local and federal Fair Housing standards Prepare and manage new and existing lease files and update the resident database to ensure accuracy Respond to all prospect inquiries by providing helpful and thoughtful information about the community and neighborhood Provide excellent customer service to residents, prospects, vendors, and other customers Conduct inspections of vacant apartments

Qualifications

High school diploma/GED equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred 1-2 years of experience in sales and customer service, previous leasing experience required Leasing license or ability to obtain within 120 days from date of hire Flexible to work weekends as necessary Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook Yardi experience preferred Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Approachable and friendly demeanor Strong time management, organizational and problem-solving skills Must be able to work with all levels of employees
