We are seeking a Leasing Specialist to join a vibrant team at a mixed property community located in Owings Mills, MD 21117. This role offers the opportunity to showcase your leasing expertise while fostering relationships in a diverse housing environment. Responsibilities: + Act as the primary point of contact for prospective and current residents, providing exceptional customer service. + Conduct property tours and lease apartments to prospective tenants. + Process rental applications, ensure compliance with leasing regulations, and verify applicant qualifications, including Section 8 requirements. + Assist in renewals, resident retention efforts, and addressing tenant concerns. + Collaborate with the property management team to maintain accurate records of leasing activity. + Promote the property to maintain high occupancy levels and a positive community environment. Requirements + Previous leasing or property management experience is strongly preferred, particularly in a mixed property and/or working with HUD regulations. + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. + Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. + Proven ability to meet or exceed leasing goals. Preferred Software Proficiencies: Experience with property management software is a plus!
