The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Maryland College Park invites applications for a full time Lecturer to teach undergraduate courses in Chemistry amp Biochemistry for the 202122 academic year The departmental undergraduate program is responsible for the chemical and biochemical instruction of more than 6000 students annually Candidates who are qualified to teach general chemistry andor biochemistry are particularly sought A PhD in Chemistry or Biochemistry or a closely related discipline is required Expected start date is August 2021 This is a 9 month non tenured position with a full time teaching assignment Applicants should submit a cover letter curriculum vitae and contact information for three persons from whom letters of recommendation can be requested
