It is closely linked with highly productive rural and urban longitudinal research initiatives and enjoys strong ties with African and international centres of excellence. Brief DescriptionThe Programme seeks to appoint a lecturer on a full-time basis; as soon as possible..
Responsibilities: The successful applicant will contribute to excellence in teaching, course development and postgraduate supervision and will pursue a productive programme of research and publication. Ample opportunity exists to network and build collaborations regionally and internationally. S/he will be expected to contribute to both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching/tutoring.
Requirements: PhD and advanced training in Demography, preferably with educational background and research experience in computational social science; data science, advanced demographic methods and publication record; relevant teaching and field research experience desirable.
