Lecturer (Faculty Wage)

The Department of Engineering and Society at the University of Virginia School of Engineering and Applied Science (http://www.eands.virginia.edu/) seeks candidates to teach specific undergraduate courses on science, technology, and society [STS] and engineering.  This position is part-time with the successful applicants being paid per course as wage-faculty.

Candidates must have at least a Master's degree or prior experience in teaching at the college or university level.  A Ph.D. is preferred.  The degree must be in STS or a related field. Experience teaching ethics and/or writing to engineers is preferred.
