The Massey College of Business at Belmont University is seeking applications for a non-tenure track faculty position at the rank of Lecturer beginning August 1, 2025.
Twenty-four hours of in-person undergraduate teaching per year (typically four three-hour courses each semester). Teaching load will primarily be in Principles of Macroeconomics and Microeconomics. Required Education: Master's with 18 hours of graduate level economics courses. Higher education teaching experience preferred.Successful candidates will demonstrate a commitment to and preparation for excellence in teaching economics and related areas to undergraduates.Create a syllabus and timeline of classes for students each semester.Provide meeting times for students.Manage online learning management system and submit grades in a timely fashion.Abide by all relevant university and/or department procedures and policies.The above statements describe the job’s essential responsibilities and requirements.
